Google's $4.6 Billion Bid - Good Or Bad?

Its been a headline for some sites in the internet as well as in media and prints that the giant Google had announced its participation for bidding next year in 700MHz wireless spectrum by the plan auction of the federal government. There's a lot of speculation as to what is the real plan of Google. Some say that Google will perhaps kill the cell phone industry once they win in the bidding.

According to Google, they want that the consumers should be allowed to download and use any applications they want to their mobile devices; that all devices can switch to any network provider as what customers chooses; that open services that would allow for third-party resellers to acquire wireless services; and that a third parties, such as Internet service providers should be allowed to connect to wireless networks.

Well I think if that is case then the public will appreciate what Google is doing and I hope there's no other plan that would make troubles to others.

IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK

Wow! its been a month and a half since my last post here and a lot has happened but now I'll try to keep up with a continuous changes here in my blog as what I've been doing before and of course with a help from who may want to, is there any? lol. Oh yes, in fact I do need some help regarding my blogspot template, I want to try to insert some code(HTML) at my 'body post' where this code should appear only on the latest post that I will be posting but I don't know where to insert the code. The national and local elections in the Philippines was just held last Monday, May 14, 2007,some elected candidates in local elections have been proclaimed and a catholic priest is one of them in the name of Fr. Ed Panlilio against a well known rivals.

Yes I know its late in the afternoon but still a Mother's Day.
First and foremost I want to greet my mother Mommy Rose who brought me up to this world along with my sister and brothers, my wife's mother Nanay Floring for giving me a lovely wife and of course my beloved wife Emer. There is also my sister Ate Josie with two kids, my wife's sisters, my titas and cousins theres a lot of them, my friends and to all the mothers out there a HAPPY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

ME A DIGITAL NOMAD?

What is DIGITAL NOMAD? Am I one of them? As FreedomSeeker include me in Nomad's list in her blog site. Well verybody knows what 'digital' is, but 'nomad' according to my research means travelling from place to place. So I can say that a Digital Nomad is the person who is travelling from places armed with digital devices.

So am I one of them? Yes and perhaps slightly no, yes - because I use digital products such as cellphone, computer, etc., and slightly no - because I don't travel a lot as the meaning implies 'place to place', although I've been out of my country once and at present for work contract.

As to my response to FreedomSeeker :

1. How to be succesfull in this lifestyle?
You got to be well adopted to the people by building a good relationship with them whether you know them or not, through this you can build a network that could make you successful.

2. What is the biggest drawback being a nomad?
You are right that establishing new found relationship and leaving behind is the hard part but for me my biggest drawback is being away from my family, I know that you know how does it feels.

3. What is my minimum essential equipment I currently have?
Rigth now I got my old laptop and mobile phone, others coming soon.

BREAKTIME....

After a busy week of hardwork I think we deserve a time for relaxation and enjoy the time with our love ones and friends as for those people miles away from home I guess the computer with internet connection is one of the best thing to get in touch with anybody.

As I enjoy surfing the net I happen to land to this funny video from Youtube which make me laugh to the bones, this is the real water bed just watch it and you'll see what I mean - its breaktime.....

12 HOURS WORKING A DAY

Well its been a busy week for me here in South Korea working 12 hours a day in a metal plating factory which keeps me for a short time logging-in my blogsite, read emails or sometimes not at all. I know its very tiring but I can smile after having the fruits of my hardwork, I know I should try earning online by monetizing my website and that is my plan but for the moment this is the only way I am earning.

It's really frustrating sometimes when working your normal routine and not being appreciated or even badmouthed by your superior but that's the way it is, if you don't like where you're working find another in my case it's very difficult because of being a foreigner in this land and having a contract signed for at least one year, but still I'm thankful for the job I have now for being no job at all is the unresponsible thing a man can do especially if you have your own family.

HAPPYSLIP - You Will Slip Into Happiness

One of the video contributor in YouTube that I admire most is Christine known as Happyslip in YouTube, she has the talent that most of us dream of- in acting, singing, playing instruments, composing a song you name it, people who follow her videos in YouTube can't ask more for her talent.

Eight months since she joined Youtube and in those time she had been invited to different film conferences, TV network guesting and awarded 2nd place by YouTube as best in comedy on one of her videos. She also have her very own website happyslip.com where you can read her blogs and other information about her, you can also purchase a merchandise bearing her happyslip tag.

One of her video "HOME" which she uploaded in Youtube last December is my favorite. The video shows the meaning of HOME which relates to me 'cause I myself right now is far away from home that is my family. The song in the video was composed and sung by Josh Verdes which carry the same title "HOME". Here is the video watch it (I know you've already seen it).

At Last! A Blog Account

Well its been a while for me figuring out how to sign-up a blog account here 'cause it's written in Korean Characters since I'm in Korea right now I guessed my computer is set-up in this country, but liittle that I know there is a page for language settings.... yeah how blind am I. Well I'm not the guy who knows much into this internet world but I'm learning and want to learn more. . .

Learning something into this field is big leap for me, where I could publish my thoughts, concerns or what ever around the world and who knows earning extra cash while doing it, perhaps like you and some of the big names here in the blogosphere... I hope. Making money online is a great learning opportunity where working from 8 to 12 or sometimes 14 hours a day in a factory and far away from the family is a very very big difference, if you could lend hand giving tips, guidelines, etc. that would be great. . .
